Marta Moreno Vega is famous Yoruba culturewho was born January 3, 1952 of Marta Moreno Vega (born January 3, 1952) is the founder of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI). She headed El Museo del Barrio, was one of the founders of the Association of Hispanic Arts, and founded the Roundtable of the Network of Centers of Color and the Institutions of Colors. CCCDI is an international non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and traditions and promoting social activism of the African Diaspora in the Americas. Vega was inspired to create CCCADI after she found it to be limited information about African and indigenous cultures from Caribbean and Latin American countries. In January 2018, Vega became an advisor to the Board of Directors along with Esq. Margarita Rosa. She attended as Interim Director of CCADI.
